Stan Shapiro co-wrote "Live Again."  If they leave him out of the credits I for one will be pissed.

Didn't Daryl Dragon co-write Sound of Free as well? On the MiC wiki page it mentions Mike Love as the co-writer.

If I'm lucky, I'll have a copy of the box tomorrow afternoon. I will then entertain questions.   Razz

god no, he is going to complain about the box's price or a random song left off the box.
Why not, we do that already without Phil's assistance. Wink
I have felt the wrath of Mr Doe and wear my wounds with pride..When he's not around things kind of drone on around here. I hope Capitol gave him a free box. He does a lot for them (BB's). And I'm not kissing butt here.

You need to post your Talmudic takedown commentary on his comments section.

My favorite construction has to be:

"As it turned out, the melancholic surf noir blues direction produced, arguably, their most interesting and lamentable material."

Wow, that's impressive. Most interesting and lamentable?

Was this run through a translator that was on the fritz? This review couldn't have originally been written in English.

Got word from amazon.de that my order has shipped and will be here tomorrow!! Woo hoo!! Then I'll post a more serious list of the tracks rather than the stuff I just simply hate.

It's OK, Donny, no one will ever blame you for caving. There's a lot of great stuff headed everyone's way, and no matter how jaded any of us may be (or pretend to be), the excitement is building up. Moments like this make many of us geezers feel like we're back in the day waiting for the next album release. May that feeling always remain with us!

Anyone else see the hilarious error here?  Grin

On our way through this "backstage" maze, Bruce joined up with the group and said hello, singing "It Never Rains in Southern California" and joking with some of the older ladies. I'm not sure if they knew he was a Beach Boy or simply an enthusiastic elderly gay gentleman.

Sorry about the Stan Sharpiro omission on the Wikipedia page, I've fixed it now and will take fault for that.

About a month ago I had a bit of spare time on my hands so I filled in the credits on Wikipedia as 99% of Made in California's writing credits are available elsewhere. By the time I got to "(Wouldn't it Be Nice) To Live Again" I only listed Dennis as I was only sure of his involvement.

I apologise if I annoyed anyone, if it's of any consolation, I had (and still have) plans to immediately check credit validity when MiC is released to make any necessary alterations.

Or Our Prayer... only just a minute long, but there's more harmonic invention and musical ability packed into that minute than some bands had in their entire careers.

idk i just like fly beats in my songs

Ha ha, "matriarch"...

MIC is on Spotify now!

And so this is the famous (WIBNT)LA uh?

Pitch correction on "You're Still A Mistery" Huh   Shocked  And is that a new lead by Brian??  It feels so slow now
"Soul Searchin'" is glorious!  But do I hear new Brian's vocals too?

What country are you in? Spotify usually allows access to new albums on their release date and it doesn't seem to be showing up in the US one (and I wouldn't expect it to until Tuesday).
