So on Facebook, the BBs team revealed a quote in the upcoming booklet:
"Dennis had a great, generous heart. He grew into a man, and he actually gave more than he took. You know, he was a giver: he'd take the shirt off his back" - Al Jardine
What they failed to mention, however, was the subsequent quote from Brian.
"Yeah, including giving it to most of our wives." - Brian Wilson

I certainly hope the rest of the book isn't generic quotes like:
"Brian has an incredible ability to hear all the different parts. That's always amazed me" - Mike
"Most people don't know this, but Mike has a really lovely baritone." - Bruce
"Brian Wilson was my basebacll coach and I was the fourth Wilson." - David
"There's a lot of love in our music." - Brian

Hopefully they'll be short essays like in The Pet Sounds Sessions liners.

I guess that was a pretty proud moment, though. That had to be a big deal with all of the Beach Boys, competition-wise.

I can't imagine how happy Brian was when he heard the news.

Care to explain? I'm old, I don't get the humor you're trying to convey.

Something along the lines of "celebrating the news."

Wouldn't it be cool if MIC contained extensive instrumental credits?

Wow I'd never heard that - I knew Dennis sang it live during that era but wow, that's a cool funky arrangement, and Dennis' voice fits the song a lot better than I thought it would.
