We have all seen the picture of Brian with Harry Nilsson from the "Reclusive Years"

According to my reading of the new "The Beach Boys In Concert" by Ian Rusten and Jon Stebbins:

April 20, 1973 - Hollywood Palladium - Brian came on stage, last appearance until 1976. Photographer was on hand and took numerous pictures.

May 23, 1975 - "Together Concert" - Anaheim - Brian was present. Photographers took numerous pictures of him backstage.

I searched the site and google extensively for these images. Either I'm not a good "googler" (very likely) OR they are hard to come by.

Has anyone seen them? Care to share?

Over in the media section's The *official* Brian/BB picture thread we already thought about creating a separate thread to discuss '73-'75 pictures of Brian. Although neither the Hollywood Palladium nor the "Together Concert" were an issue yet. Smiley

P.S. Are these from the same date? I'm asking because Brian's official website had one of them as "1976" once (a couple of years ago).

Hey Little Tomboy is creepy. Banging women by the pool is fun and conjures up warm summer thoughts a Beach Boys song should.

I know exactly what you mean!

I can't get over how almost everything He did in the 60s and 70s was so HIP!

Reminds me of the par on the beautiful dreamer documentary, when Danny Hutton Talks about how Brian was one of the hippest people he knew.

Even in the dark years, what he did and didn't do was just so flipping hip and cool.
That story that Danny Hutton tells about Iggy Pop, himself, and Alice Cooper (I think) having them sing shortenin' bread is just so brilliant! Where was the recording devices then?

The one of Brian with Carnie and wendy in white shirts is from another day as they are dressed different in the other Anaheim pics and he looks a little slimmer

I love the way the girl (Carnie?) mimicks Brian's facial expression! Smiley

Other than that, personally I think Brian looks atrocious in those pictures. Not a guy I would like to meet. Personally.

I met him the following year when he still looked like that and I'm very glad I did.  The guy was great.

I, I love the colorful clothes she wears, and she's already working on my brain. I only looked in her eyes, but I picked up something I just can't explain. I, I bet I know what she’s like, and I can feel how right she’d be for me. It’s weird how she comes in so strong, and I wonder what she’s picking up from me. I hope it’s good, good, good, good vibrations, yeah!!

Thank you for posting these photos. I find them fascinating. You can literally see a man "turning". It makes you want to go back in a time machine and intervene and kidnap him or something.
