I wasn't overly familiar with him but I thought I'd post this link regarding the passing of Mr. Coury:

I remember that picture from the May Pang. He was the one who put Helen Wheels on the US Band on The Run. He also had a heavy hand promoting solo Lennon, at least Walls and bridges and Rock and Roll
