Sounds cool. But also show what a great lead Mike did on this.

Nice mix! But agreed with Rocker that it really shows how good Mike's lead is. Had Brian double tracked this vocal it would sound a lot better.

Here's my Til I Die mix - my most popular fanmix: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QS34TZR3SNY

Here's my mix of the 'Don't Talk' vocal snippet and the string section mashed together: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PIBZEhUuIc0

Here's my favorite moment of any mix I've made. I edited in the "ooooh yeah yeah" vocal to the a cappella break in Sloop John B:

My multi-layered mix of Wouldn't It Be Nice (with vocals only, background vocals only, instrumentals only sections): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T94mq3vsiZo

Years ago someone 'released' an absolutely awesome mix of WIBN...similar to your version rab2591, but less 'educational' I guess.

I don't know who did it, maybe they are among us?  It goes by the name of BarricklowSummers Remix.

Here's my Til I Die mix
That's amazing, I made the exact same mix for myself awhile back.  Same musical choices, and everything!  As much as I love both the original and Desper mixes, my blend of the two has become my preferred "'Till I Die" listening experience.

The only differences between our mixes (and they are small, indeed) is that when the group re-enters for the coda, the voices are heard a tad louder at the beginning of the fade-in on my version.  That, and my copy runs 3:33 (just an extra second or two of silence before the end, I suppose).

Small world, huh?  High Five

Wow that mix of "Till I Die" is dare I say better than the Surf's Up original.
More dynamics and feels completely natural at the same time.
Great stuff!

Yeah, I loved the additions that the Desper mix alt. brought to the song, but I just felt that musically, it went on a bit long in some places.  I can't speak for rab, of course, but I'm guessing he was thinking something similar.

Thanks guys! Yeah, I loved the feel of the Desper mix (far more creative), but I did find it too long in places. Crazy we both thought of the same mix!

Just did a quick cross-fading job combining the completed sections of The BBs "Sandy" and Brian's "Sherry, She Needs Me." Hope you like! http://soundcloud.com/zachrwolfe/sherry-sandy-needs-me

Nice! I wonder if they flew in those ending vocals on the MIC version.

Nice job! Sounds great!

Thanks man! It was a tough one. Had to pull a lot of trickery and fake the funk in certain spots. The bridge + choruses were tough to extract since there are so many harmonies. And the backing track source is substandard. But the verses are pretty clean.

I, I love the colorful clothes she wears, and she's already working on my brain. I only looked in her eyes, but I picked up something I just can't explain. I, I bet I know what she’s like, and I can feel how right she’d be for me. It’s weird how she comes in so strong, and I wonder what she’s picking up from me. I hope it’s good, good, good, good vibrations, yeah!!

Woah, considering the sources you used, this sounds fantastic!!! I've heard a bunch of attempts of a stereo TLGIOK and this is by far the best. Great stereo isolation of certain instruments.

Thanks man, glad u dig it. I remember u requesting it a while back. It's a bit of a hot mess, but enjoyable.

Well I'll give Brian that credit ha. But thanks man, I know what you mean. I went back and listened to the mono mix. It's crazy how buried the saxes + stuff are. Very drum / bass / vocal heavy mix. The vocals are more "in" the track here, rather than on top of it, for better or worse.
