The Beach Boys have a huge catalog and I am noticing new things about their music constantly
like subtle (or not so subtle) cues that harken to works by other artists. Not bringing this up to
debate whether this is deliberate "copying" or not -- just to share what your ears may be hearing.

I will kick off the topic with this because I just noticed it today.

We're Together Again - (Middle section only) contains elements of

The Troggs - Love Is All Around (chorus)

Hey Little Tomboy is creepy. Banging women by the pool is fun and conjures up warm summer thoughts a Beach Boys song should.

Therefore: A bootlegger is a necessity

So, has this been covered in another thread?

Or is the subject treading on dangerous ground in these here parts?  Razz
