If you told me three years ago that Jeff Mangum would come out of seclusion and that Neutral Milk Hotel would go on tour again, I wouldn't have believed you in the slightest bit.  Mangum doing acoustic shows was surprising enough, this is just incredible news.

If they come anywhere near Eugene, they're getting my money.

Was hoping to find a more recently used, appropriate thread, but this one seems to be the one.

I saw NMS last night at the legendary First Ave in Mpls. Wrote about it at the Record Room, so if you care, you can read it here: http://s3.excoboard.com/therecordroom/29211/1055355

If you don't care, you can also read about it there, but I'm not sure why you'd want to (not caring and everything).

I'm seeing them in May but hoping to go in with zero idea of what's a-gonna happen, otherwise I'd read the heck out of that.

I could expunge all references to NMH in it for you, but I guess that would be kind of pointless. So instead I'll just say I enjoyed the show tremendously and I am pretty sure you'll have a great time (assuming you're a fan).

Yeah I'm a fan (otherwise I wouldn't be bothering to sit through the "Invent Yourself a Shortcake" stuff LOL ). Glad you enjoyed it, I don't want my expectations to take over and ruin the fun.
