Currently my collection consists of:
1 - the CDs
2 - the DVDs
3 - the books.
Everything else - vinyl, magazines, memorabilia and general "stuff" - was lost two years ago.
How do you lose that much stuff? Moving? an ex takes off with it? Storm damage?
Freak Worm hole?
Or donated to the british museum?
There is a British Beach Boys museum?

Update of my collection:
Pet Sounds is 2001 mono/stereo version. All two-fers are 2000/2001. I just remembered I have an Australia compilation called Greatest Hits on cassette. It's from the 80s and has The Beach Boys' medley and the ballads medley (plus other songs
).
It's very annoying how M.I.U Album/L.A. Light Album is out-of-print. I wouldn't mind getting a used copy of it, if it was under $30AU. There's some good songs on those albums.

Keep an eye on eBay for an "MIU CD", as when one was listed as such I won it for £2.

I see you are collecting the CD's. For now, I'm concentrating on Vinyl, though I'll eventually start collecting CD's.
I should probably take a picture of my updated collection. Maybe sometime after my trip to Japan, which is in less than a week...

I collect CDs so I can read all the liner notes in the booklets. I do like vinyl but my record player isn't that good and so I have to plug it into my bass amp to get a good sound.

It's also difficult to find vinyl where I live. I live in regional Victoria and there aren't a lot of record fairs. I went to one in March and only got 2 records (stupid me). The next one isn't until September
There's always ebay though

In March? Interesting. I live in Melbourne and there have been two record fairs so far that I'm aware of - the Box Hill Record fair in February, June and August. And the Essendon Record Fair in April - which I went to and scored with Holland and the 85 album on Vinyl.
Was it the Bendigo one that you went to? Because that seemed to have been the one that was on in March.

My favourite recent purchase, since it filled a massive hole in my UK singles, was the Mess of Help/Cuddle Up 45 w/Picture Sleeve. Great single I've been looking for for ages! - £3!

Yep it was Bendigo.
What was it like? And did you get any Beach Boys records there?
It wasn't big. I got Good Vibrations- Best Of Beach Boys and Rock and roll music by The beatles. I regret not getting more records! I remember seeing Party and Concert there.
yeah guys.......... I'm in Ballarat, and I get plenty of BB vinyls..........
they call it the internet and eBay.......

Hmm... when I went to Ballarat not long ago, I went to the record store Rediscovery. Aside from around two Beach Boys CD's, I couldn't find any Beach Boys albums. And absolutely nothing on Vinyl there, which was a disappointment.
And I suppose I'm slightly old-fashioned in the sense that I'd rather go to record stores and record fairs to check out and buy my Records, rather than buy off the Internet.

If you're young enough, and willing to wait your lifetime X 10, then refusing to buy off the internet may be a good plan; except that most vinyl will , most likely, never make it ti the stores and fairs.
Maybe you'll get lucky and a few old cocker dedicated BBs collectors wil drop and leave their collections in a thrift store for you to pick up...
Otherwise, you're screwed

Eventually, I'll start buying off the internet. It's not so much that I'm refusing to buy off the internet, it's more that I can't.
Within a few years, I'll most likely be able to.
But in any case, my collection has already expanded quite a bit. So far, things are going all-right.

yeah, record stores here and op shops 'never' have great stuff anymore.........
I was in a 'salvation army' store a couple years ago, and I saw someone pick up a byrds, johnny cash and some rolling stones Lp's.......
he was ahead of me going through the stack.... errrr!
I got to the counter behind this guy and the manager actually had a blast at someone else who was working there on the spot to the effect of:
" we don't put THOSE records out!, they go somewhere Else!'........
I knew then as I had kinda guessed for myself, the great records get 'cherry picked' before they get to the shelf, unless someone makes a mistake
and doesn't realise what they are selling...

This happened to me. When there's a slew of old Beach Boy records that includes "Love You" at the local Goodwill, you know you've struck gold. The collection even included Pacific Ocean Blue
Without that glorious find my Beach Boys vinyl collection would be sorely lacking.
@Love Surrounds Me: Definitely check out local antique shops and stuff...you might have a local vinyl dealer that operates out of one of those places...and normally the records are dirt cheap compared to buying them in an actual record store.

God must’ve smiled the day Brian Wilson was born!
"ragegasm" - /rāj • ga-zəm/ : a logical mental response produced when your favorite band becomes remotely associated with the bro-country genre.
Ever want to hear some Beach Boys songs mashed up together like The Beatles' 'LOVE' album? Check out my mix!

Pre-Internet, local record fairs, op shops, collectables stores (Chapel Street Bazaar) etc. were great places to expand one's collection. These days I've found that such discoveries are rapidly declining. Ebay has become a great way to find and obtain collectables from around the world, unless of course you're bidding against an equally rabid collector
