Here's a link to:

'Subtle Strength' (Track Only).

http://s41.yousendit.com/d.aspxid=2WKSID5DWVEHG0YDLJVCLIBYRH

The full vocal version will be on the album in September.

This track's got more of a groove-thang going on and I'm playing 2 electric basses plus various guitars played forwards and backwards .. it's a lot of fun  Cool Guy

ENJOY!!

I missed the chance to hear your track, though...

Ken,

Got the track, can't wait to hear it w/vox...

I like those e-bow textures in there...

Also dig the wide drum spread,
but those are loops, right...?

Definitely, zap another track over for Vol. 2...

Maybe an instrumental, but whatever you
think would be best for the Anthology...

Will it be billed as an Otherside track...?

Thanks,

Bob

On the drums? .. nope, just my trusty Alesis SR-16. The drum track was doubled .. then panned hard left and right .. and then one track was shifted out of time to give it that deep 'n' wide feel  3D

Okee doke .. just give me a day or so to wade through what I've got  Smiley

Nope, it'll be a 'Ken.W' track .. Trev's not a BB nut at all .. I don't think he quite understands my fascination with all things Wilsonian .. although he did sing a slight homage to BW in '300 Miles South': " .. Have to .. Find some .. Terra firma .. I'll Wilson .. My way .. To Scilly"  Smokin

CHEERS!!

That's a neat little trick with the drums. Be careful to not put one track out of time too much .. you'll end up with either a slapback echo effect or a very phasey sound .. you'll know when you've got it right  Azn

Mess around a bit with the panning as well .. if you don't pan it .. but double the track .. it'll sound messy in extremis  Grin
