As requested by many people (two, to be exact), here are some of my original demos from back in the day. Forgive the tape hiss, as this is how they originally sounded back in the day. I will edit this as needed.

'Battle Sequence'- There's a long story about this, and ties into my novel, but needless to say, this was from a concept album I was doing. There's a dodgy tape splice in there; decided to leave it in as is. Song was written in 1990, but the original tape is deteriorated beyond use.

'Revenge'- from the same album project. Written in 1996 and recorded in 2002.

'Vortex'- Recorded in Sept 2001. Style has changed a lot in the ensuing 11 1/2 years...

In the next few days, I plan to convert some cassettes to mp3...got some college stuff, including some proto-dub step from 1998, and also a gospel session I produced. I wish I had a way to covert stuff from ADAT tapes, though, because there is some primo material there...

Thank you for sharing Billy. Could you post a link or two (or link to another thread) to some of your latest stuff? I've heard a few more recent tracks of yours before but can't find it right now, and I thought it'd be interesting to compare. From memory, I think your later stuff is more adventurous and goofier at times, but this old stuff sounds solid given how long ago it was (and how young you must have been). It sounds very confident and it sets a very tangible mood - edgy/dark but not sinister. It's an immediately engaging listen.
