Let it go. Different circumstances, but this thread reminds me of when Ian was banned, as if it were essential to circle the wagons and let everyone pile on how those remaining are the winners and those gone are lacking. People come, people go (and those who go usually come back). Sure, departure announcements are dramatic, and if memory serves, it's not AGD's first such announcement. But really ... so what? He's great. And he's a dick. And the same inherent contradiction (or something similar) could be said of many of us.

 The 50th Anniversary made 2012 an incredible year for the band, and this board. 2013 has been the inevitable letdown, with decompression an understandable option for many. I hope AGD returns to enlighten, even if he is insufferable at times.
