Bit bored today and decided to record a few live acoustic songs I like to play sometimes. Here is one - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nyileWVgk4E

Edit: I put up a few more live acoustic recordings recently.

In Tall Buildings (John Hartford) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wl_Cly92b7I

The Lost Soul (Trad) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JB0FG2-BFnk

Orphan Boy (Girl) (Gillian Welch) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wyPAcJn-Kfg

Hey Mike,  Been playing a lot of your music today, and this one really fits the mood of the board this past week.  We need a healing song today.

And, all those storms that have been in the South are about to get here to my neck of the woods.  Happy hour and my picks are just about over.  Company's comin'.

Got time for one more... "See the Sky about to Rain" - Neil Young.  Then I will shut down the computer, and the real picks will begin on the big system.

Hope you are working at getting some new tracks up soon.

take it easy, buddy -Will

Mike,  I have been listening to these new clips since the day you posted them.  Developments of this day have prevented me from adding my comments.  Time, time, time, and how we spend it.  Had to comment on the days gutter thread.  Where I did put, on the main board, one of Richie's songs.  The thread will soon be relegated to the Sandbox, but for now it's shining on the Main.

All four are a very nice addition to your collection of youtube clips.  Soon you will have enough for a covers album.  You could add in the Dennis, Beach Boys and Alex tracks - and you're nearly there.

I will get something a bit more detailed up soon.  It's party night at my house.  By 6pm the place will be Rockin'. -Will

Edit:  ps -  Like last Saturday, "I Think It's Going to Rain Today" is a fitting statement on what has happened to Scott today.  When will all the bummers end?

Hey Mike,  I took the video down, don't want to cause confusion.  Not sure what is happing with the source.  I like Michael Knight music a lot.  I support you and your band.  I look around to see if I can find new stuff.  Sorry if it caused you or Richie embarrassment.  Does he come here?

I found that album over a year ago at   https://myspace.com/michaelknightie/music/songs

Whoever put that there is using Richie's recent picture, the same one he uses at his youtube channel.  I would hate to lose it as a music choice, but some of it is on youtube.  I actually like the album.  Tell Richie about it when you see him.  He may want to take it down. -Will

No worries at all Will. We often joke about having an impossible to google band name  Grin

Richie doesn't come here but I will let him know. Thanks as always for listening.

Okay.  Not gonna move on without playing your stuff.  Another month has passed us by, and I still don't have a review up for the new tracks yet.
I've got some notes around here some place.  My desk is a jumbled mess.  I'll check the cupboard.

I am listening.  I love what you produce.  Are you going for a covers album, or working on something new? -Will

Thanks Will, will just record covers and hopefully some originals when time allows. Got a 9 month old baby here that doesn't seem keen on allowing me much free time  Grin

Lovely song there, MBW. Quality stuff. Thanks to Will for reactivating this topic.

The name Michael Knight rings a bell. I'm sure I've checked out an album under that name (on Bandcamp?)...

Ah yes. It was Physics Is Out To Get Me that I heard. I remember I especially liked "Fright At The Museum" (listening to it now).
