Some of the stuff on CATP sounds like either Neil Young, Chicago or CSN. Some of their early stuff is sort of like the Four Seasons.

I've always thought that Lookin' At Tomorrow could fit into The Wall, so blown over I was when I first listened to it. Well, with different lyrics, perharps...

How the hell did Jardine come up with that?

"Girl Don't Tell Me" is The Beatles but I've read it was meant to sound that way.

What song is "Looking for tomorrow" ripped off from?

"The Wanderer" by the Kingston Trio.

All I Wanna Do made me think of No. 9 Dream by John Lennon when I first heard it.

Carl and the Passions reminds me of The Band - in a good way! Especially "Hold on, Dear Brother", a song that I think is quite touching.

Well, there's obviously Girl Don't Tell Me sounding suspiciously similar to Ticket To Ride (though I do prefer GDTM).

"All I Want To Do" musically (not vocally) sounds like a decent Rolling Stones song. (not to be confused with "All I Wanna Do")

The instrumental break (moog solo) of the studio version of "Leaving This Town" sounds like it could fit on Pink Floyd's Obscured By Clouds.

The cover version of "Rock And Roll Music" sounds suspiciously like somebody farting.

"Full Sail" kind of reminds me of Air Supply.

I think most of Love You could be excellently covered by Beat Happening, though I think it'd be guitar- rather than synth-based if that happened...

Keeping The Summer Alive album almost sounds like the Beach Boys. Just not as good.

Steam Boat sounds very Pink Floyd

When I listen to the Danielson Famile albums Alpha/Omega, it has a Love You vibe to it

Good Timin has an Eagles sound to it

does "It's About Time" vaguely remind anyone of "I Got A Line on You" by Spirit?

"Goin' On" could have easily been covered by Queen.

The lead guitar on Steamboat especially sounds like the lead sound on Pink Floyds "IF" on Atom Heart Mother.  Can't recall hearing that particular sound outside of those two songs, although I'm sure it must have been used elsewhere.

Summer of Love reminds me of Eminem.

Darlin' reminds me of Sharon Marie and also of Redwood.

Car Crazy Cutie reminds of The Survivors.

I Do reminds of The Castells.

I was thinking more of the vibe of the song as to anything musically specific.

When I listen to "Summer's Gone", I get a Pink Floyd or Alan Parson's Project vibe, which I like.
