Well, maybe a future suggestion would be to complete a nice tidy list
I'm sure a lot of people would appreciate it.

MrMustachio, the next time you start a thread, I'll try hard to contribute to it in a very positive, constructive manner. I'm out in left field on this one.....

I, I love the colorful clothes she wears, and she's already working on my brain. I only looked in her eyes, but I picked up something I just can't explain. I, I bet I know what shes like, and I can feel how right shed be for me. Its weird how she comes in so strong, and I wonder what shes picking up from me. I hope its good, good, good, good vibrations, yeah!!

And production aside, Id so much rather hear a 14 year old David Marks shred some guitar on Chug-a-lug than hear a 51 year old Mike Love sing about bangin some chick in a swimming pool.-rab2591

Exactly! I may be an expert at digging holes, but I never find what I want in them. Usually.

I thought I read an interview where Brian mentioned singing on a Spanish version of "Kokomo". Is there such a release?
It's the last track of side 2 of Still Cruisin' vinyl LP (mine's an Oz pressing).

The Spanish version of Kokomo is on the flip side of the California Dreamin' 7" single (Germany) that came out in 1989.
It's also on a 3-song mini CD (Germany) with California Dreamin' and Wipeout (Fat Boys).

Nice work, Shelter!
While we're here, can anybody honestly defend this one:
The Baker Man (Brian Wilson) lead: Brian Wilson - recorded: March 1963
I know there is a story behind this one (probably recorded quickly and as a demo intended for another artist) but Brian actually wrote this W&M? Ouch! I can't think of anything really nice to say about it. But I'll try:
- The drumming is adequate
- It features a Brian Wilson lead vocal
- It isn't a disco remake of an earlier original song
I'm running out of ideas. Anyone?

The inclusion of pretty much the entire
Smile Sessions
[/i] big box is utterly pointless given that as works in progress there was never any chance of it being released anywhere else, much less as part of a studio album.

yeah, I'm ignoring things like session stuff etc, but a cut down version of that list is an idea...
