Soon after Rab and I finished work on "Stay Away" (our previous collab - you can find that here: https://soundcloud.com/egohanger/stay-away-egohanger-rab) , we went to work on another track. "Stay Away" took a couple months...."Is That Alright?" ending up taking us less than a week from start to finish.

Still a lot of Beach Boys/60s pop influence. I hope you guys enjoy it - comments appreciated.

Here's the link for "Is That Alright?" :

(p.s - apologies for the sound of Soundcloud's stream - we uploaded a perfectly high-bit WAV),

FYI: the mix of this song got completely trashed in my music program and I was unable to hear it before it got put up. Until we get the proper mix up (may be a few hours) I recommend not listening to this lol.

The Beach Boys legacy is still being mortared to this day...it has a solid and unbreakable foundation of incredible songs that tower above most bands, yet some bricks are more brittle and ugly than others (even some bricks put down more recently)...thus is the nature of any entity that continues to exist. You are not defined solely by your good achievements in life, you're also defined by those unpleasant moments too. This law of life, thankfully, helps keep us all in check.

I hate to be "that guy" - but I'm bumping this one up. I think some of you who haven't heard it may enjoy it.

Good call on being 'that guy' - this is fuckin' A. Those chorus vocals are lush stuff.

Listened to Stay Away too, that's blinding. These both sound amazing, production wise! Good tunes, too. Mad props to you both

Keep going, wish my stuff sounded that good. Consider my game stepped up  Grin

All roads lead to Kokomo. Exhaustive research in time travel has conclusively proven that there is no alternate universe WITHOUT Kokomo. It would've happened regardless.
What is this "life" thing you speak of ?

They both sound fab, but I LOVE Stay Away,  gorgeous, summery, sunny, happy.  Reminds me of I love the Flower Girl (flowers in her hair).   Talented guys Smiley

Well, guess what I've been doing the past 3 hours.  Smiley

Addendum: the state of my condition is not as bad as it seems.  Cheesy
