Brian "Surfin' USA" Quote?

Hey, can anyone help me out with this?...I'm looking for an exact quote from Brian on "Surfin' U.S.A."...he says something like "Surfin' USA was a combination of your Chuck Berry-styled rock 'n' roll guitar, your Mike Love lead vocal, and your Brian, Dennis, and Carl harmonies".  Something to that effect.  I think it was on some late '70s/early '80s documentary like "Portrait Of A Legend"...the footage I'm thinking of is from '77 (definitely, since he has the super-short buzz haircut), and he's laying outside on a lounge chair.  I know that he also talked about how lots of people moved to California thinking life would be great, until they got out there & realized it wasn't so great.  Maybe the two quotes are from two different interviews, but I'm thinking they were from the same one.  Any help would be appreciated!
