 I think I'd want to go to WMNF's Brian Wilson 70th Birthday Celebration even if I wasn't playing at it. Bunch of bands. Starts at 5 Saturday. Not yet Brian's birthday. Blooms Day. We'll cope.
 
Bill Peed and I, doing business as Americana Wtihout Borders (note name change) will be doing three songs. We will do one of them as part of a short set on the station's Live Music Showcase Friday afternoon, 2 to 3 p.m. I thnk we're on first, but never make an ass out of Uma Thurman.
 
At the show Saturday - oh, which is at Skipper's Smokehouse in Tampa - I'll be seelling copies of Looking for a Place to Fit, a collection of my writing over the years about Pet Sounds.
