Could someone please tell me, are the mono/stereo versions of this track completely different recordings
or is at least one track the same on both ?

Huh? I think it's pretty obvious that the mono and stereo versions are mixed from the same bit of master tape...?

Genuine question - what seems so different to you about them that you'd think they were different recordings?

I mean, one (the stereo) is a lot shorter than the other (the mono), but that's the only obvious difference I can recall... and that's just because the stereo fades out a lot earlier... annoyingly!
