Obviously the three that had been married the least amount of times  Smiley Though Carl and Al were the most stable, if I had to choose, it would be them.

Mike: definitely not.  Dennis: definitely not.  Brian: would be interesting...but it would have gotten too weird.  Yeah, I'd say either Carl or Al.  They seem like the most stable.  Personally, I don't think I'd want my daughter to marry ANY rock star!

Who wouldn't want to marry Al? Let's face it, the thread should be titled, which Beach Boy would you want for a husband. Whether you're a girl or a guy. Al is so stable and seems very kind. He has that dreamy sweep of blond hair. He smiles a lot. I bet both Mrs. Al Jardines were happy with Al. He seems like he'd be a fun dad, too. His sons seem to like hanging out with him as an adult.

but to answer the question - and I'll extend it to all the members - in order of son-in-law preference:

1) Al
2) Carl
3) Bruce
4) Ricky
5) Blondie
6) Dave
7) Brian
Cool Dennis
9) Mike

As this list suggests, the ranking is from least to most likely to break daughter's heart. Am also taking into account the specification that we be talking about the guys in their twenties...otherwise Dave would rank higher. It took him a while to mature.
