In some cases (e.g. Sgt Pepper) the cover is much better than the album.

Though not my favorite Beatles LP, I would debate you on Pepper.   Regardless, a wonderful, iconic, groundbreaking album cover.

Now "Their Satanic Majesties"...absolutely.

I bought that album when it was released--the cover featured a lenticular image, which was not always the case later on.



Unlike Pepper, I like most of the music on it, particularly "Citadel":
