I've turned 30 and have been a fan for about 13 years. But I've got heavily into their stuff the last 3. I can honestly say that they are one of the best bands ever, and there won't ever be anyone like them again. I feel like u either get it or u don't, we all get it, and we are lucky for that. I just bought seven of the remasterd albums. I'm really enjoying them, especially the mono of surfing USA..hence the name lonely sea. Anyway just saying what's up to everyone..I've turned a lot of my friends too!

And production aside, I’d so much rather hear a 14 year old David Marks shred some guitar on Chug-a-lug than hear a 51 year old Mike Love sing about bangin some chick in a swimming pool.-rab2591

Thanks for the welcome, yea a couple of my friends like the beach boys, but none to the extent I do. This past year I bought the smile box set, pet sound box set and remasters. So its been fun going through all of it, especially listening to them on 1966 bose speakers, its truly unbelievable to explain the sound.

Plus the beach boys are becoming very popular amongst the hipster scene in brooklyn. Which can be annoying in itself.
