I played it a few times on X-mas eve around my family and they thought it sounded pretty silly/corny but he actually enjoyed it.
Should I keep an eye out for him? (He might be a little crazy ?) lol jk It just goes to show there's a beach boys song for everyone in your family whether you/they know it or not.

It always sounded to me like Al had a sore throat on this one...the kind where it hurts to talk, like strep throat.

Strep throat is the fucking worst :/ (Ouch!!) It sounds decent and is one of their better X-mas songs but it just caught me off guard that anybody else would like this song.

I like it a lot myself. Much better than the abysmal Belles Of Paris version.

I like both versions. The France version benefits from Mike Love's more convincing vocals.

Love "Bells Of Christmas", the melody, arrangement, feel. I think Al's vocal is fine, but they could've used some "work" on Brian's high part, especially the a capella part at the end. Smiley

who knows if the version we have is the intended final lead vocal? the song sounds unfinished, the mix is really weird.

My dog like kokomo. Now that would make a great thread in the newguy tradition of inane threads.

And production aside, I’d so much rather hear a 14 year old David Marks shred some guitar on Chug-a-lug than hear a 51 year old Mike Love sing about bangin some chick in a swimming pool.-rab2591
