I like O&O--really like it, in fact, but I think in the past decade or so it has gone from criminally underrated to (dare I say?) overrated.
I dunno. It's a pretty damn good album! Also, as mentioned above, singer Colin Blunstone's 'One Year' album that followed is pretty damn good too.

Fats Waller - Giants Of Jazz

This is a time-life box set . It's got the classics. It's got a little bit 'o everything.
Fats Waller has been a very rewarding experience for me. First heard him on the radio by chance.
It was his 1943 recording of "Ain't Misbehavin " . Blew my mind.  If you haven't heard him yet I'd highly recommend it. Especially if you like old-tyme Harry Nilsson /Paul McCartney songs, and that type of thing.

Fats Waller was a genius and is a giant of American music. We would not have what we have without him. So I'll second halblaineisgood's recommendation.

I really hope people are listening to Demarco. Wine Down Low is a beautiful, nearly perfect example of emotive song writing and production over lyrical obfuscation/cowardice. One perfectly musically realised line over ten verses that avoid libel /relating to a real human life/cloak pissing on an ex in soapy political arse. All day. All night.

When you need great apocalyptic sex music go Camille or go home!

Still believe in Black Album / LoveSexy as an almost official double album.

Very enjoyable album that basically works as a collection of guest shots on other people's tracks, except the tracks are only on this album. Talkin Bout and the JT track are so right.

Psychedelic album from the late 60s that wasn't released until 2002. It's very good.  Cheesy

Good! Another new name for my psych collection of the 60s. 3D Danke schon!

NB: Chap in the middle looks kinda like a cross between Bill Wyman & Roger Waters.

THE FANTASTIC MERLINS - Look Around

Not my usual taste, but an interesting album featuring neat tenor sax and electronics. Rather noir-ish. Cool artwork on the cover too. I've never been able to paste images on this message board for some reason but look it up...it's cool stuff.

Judd, I gave this a listen the other day while watching Bonzo clips and working on my Listening thread post.  Were you thinking of picking this for the Listening thread?.  You put both up around the same time.  Not too bad, but very derivative of the Beatles and the Left Banke, with a bit of Nazz and Small Faces thrown in for good measure!  Bonzo band was a better choice.

btw, did you notice the lead singer posting he had made some new recordings and was looking to get a new record deal?  Using youtube as a spring-board to a whole new career in his 70's.
