Ramones - California Sun. Great summer song.  Cool

Hell yeah! Ramones Leave Home Album is a rock & roll gem!

Oh, I agree. It's my favourite of theirs from what I've heard so far.

Hey Little Tomboy is creepy. Banging women by the pool is fun and conjures up warm summer thoughts a Beach Boys song should.

Oh Oh I Love Her So and Fun, Fun, Fun go so hand-in-hand. Leave Home and Rocket To Russia are probably their best two albums, with Road To Ruin and the 1st Self-Titled LP coming in next.

Annie's new EP, The A&R EP, produced and co-written with Richard X, is absolute fire. I've been listening to it non-stop and it reminded me just how awesome Annie is at club-ready synthpop! I ended up listening to her two albums again and Anniemal especially has lost none of its excellence since its release in 2004.

A pleasant surprise, since I acquired it on a hunch and had no clue whatsoever how they sounded before I put them on:

Billie Holiday's Lady Day: The Master Takes and Singles
You've got a taste of Keith Richards: in one article he made a list of most influential (read - favorite) albums & this one he labeled as "The Album That My Mum Introduced Me To". Cool to know that Keith digs some jazz.

P.S. Final verdict: it's largely derivative but quite enjoyable nonetheless. Head Spin

Wow, this is the most wonderful & beautiful record cover that my eyes had seen!!! The video isn't to my taste, though. I only liked the placard with big letters saying "Save Our Streets". Quite entertaining change of real SOS-signal. The song itself is fine.

This is a really fucking good pop album: Keep It Safe by Wild Ones. My favourite track is "Paia" but there isn't a weak song in the bunch I reckon.

Joanna Newsom's Emily. Love the melodies, the atmosphere and her voice, but it's one of those times when I wish my English was better, so I could understand what the hell is she going on about. Smiley

'Why Don't They Let Us Fall In Love' from Made In California...all week long. Over and over again. Constantly stuck in my head. I'm constantly singing it too, when I'm working, driving, cleaning my house....Hooked!

I had almost forgotten what a great job Michael Brauer did with the remixing. Fantastic sound.

PRO SHOT BEACH BOYS CONCERTS - LIST

To sum it up, they blew it, they blew it consistently, they continue to blow it, it is tragic and this pathological problem caused The Beach Boys' greatest music to be so underrated by the general public.

Not quite as good as 2 other solo albums he did, but I'm really starting to get into this!
"A Quarter To Three" and "Apache Woman" are must-listens. In "No More Foolin'", he does a great Louis Armstrong impression. Other highlights include "Every Sixty Seconds", "Feet", and "If You Wanna Be Happy"
