The live half, The Narrow Way and Grantchester Meadows are great.

all the early Miracles albums (61-66)

People always say early motown stuff was about the single, well yeah BUT.. there is very little filler on those Miracles albums IMO

I'm really enjoying Greatest Hits from the beginning. Its mono and it's pretty trashed, but like all trashed motown, it still sounds great! So many good songs on there.

Today, it's Little Feat - Dixie Chicken, the S/T and Sailing Shoes keeping me from going batshit insane at work. The songs on the latter two are really strange as well, all over the place.

Marina and the Diamonds- 'Electra Heart'- I thought this was gonna be a  guilty pleasure pop album; turns out she has more in common with Fiona Apple and Tori Amos as opposed to Katy Perry or Carly Rae Jepsen.  I then proceeded to check out her first album and I gotta say, this chick has got it goin'.  And , before anybody asks, it's a solo project for Marina Diamandis, not a band.

'Sailing Shoes' was covered by Robert Palmer, on his debut album  Sneakin' Sally thru the Alley. Another one of my all-time favorite artists...such a shame people mainly know him for his 80s hits.

Forgive me for bumping this and continuing it, but   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ysckmplDbmA   happens to be one of the most hauntingly beautiful songs I've heard in years. I need to track down her first CD, as the second CD and what I've heard online is now in constant rotation on Winamp for me.

Ever want to hear some Beach Boys songs mashed up together like The Beatles' 'LOVE' album? Check out my mix!
