Completely different scenario, the Smile box had an official announcement and then teasers such as the H&V/GV 78 for Record Store Day and the Mojo Cabin Essence/Wonderful yellow vinyl. We have had precisely no information nor announcements whatsoever about the increasingly mythical 'Made In California'. |

IIRC it was planned as a anniversary release for late 2012, after the 50BO disks. Then, for reasons unknown, it was postponed to early 2013. Then, it suddenly became Sept 2013. What scares me a bit is that my (always reliable) retailer has as the label: 'The Other Side'. So it might be some cosmic joke. I suspect Phil Cohen's the perpetrator. |

The designer of the (I think) Smile boxset has posted it a couple times in the last 6 months, with the caption "getting closer" or something to that effect. I think it's coming out, but no doubt the lack of information is getting pretty irritating. |
