Russ Titleman and "Guess I'm Dumb"

Brian Wilson and Russ Titleman are credited with the writing of "Guess I'm Dumb". The song is one of Brian's finest productions, and the song itself is beautiful.

Does anyone know how the song was written? ( Ex. Brian wrote the music and Russ the lyrics ). Or perhaps it was truly collaberative on both music and words?

That's something I've always wondered, too.  That same year, Titleman was also involved in one of the great little-known Brian soundalike productions of the sixties, a Lesley Gore track called "What Am I Gonna Do With You".  Could've been on Summer Days.
