The first 4 movies were all great. When Guttenberg left (and along with him others) they really turned terrible.

Youre' right. Number seven (the one where they go to Russia) is particularly dreadful. I didn't laugh once. But I wouldn't be so harsh with number six. It had it's moments. It was my first Police Academy, though, so it has some extra special meaning for me.
