Ok let's stop the numbering please, it's not funny anymore.
Or start from 1560 or so!

I am breathlessly awaiting further word!

Let me tell ya - they know there's a lot on the line in Biloxi. Mike is gently warming up his voice for the vigors of Duke of Earl, while Bruce is conducting deep knee bends and stretching exercises, so he can jump higher and clap LOUDER. Com'on everyone...on your feet! Smokin

Yes, please!
And then put the review in the review section. The reunion shows were just an exception because of their importance.

To sum it up, they blew it, they blew it consistently, they continue to blow it, it is tragic and this pathological problem caused The Beach Boys' greatest music to be so underrated by the general public.

Well, if these shows are going be listed here the numbering might as well be consistent. If the hospital benefit's going to be dubbed Show 74, then the ones Mike, Historical, and Uncle just did in Waco and Austin would be 75 and 76, and the Biloxi shows would be 77 and 78. Whatever.

Speaking of the Austin show, a couple of clips from local station KVOE-TV's coverage:

http://www.kvue.com/entertainment/slideshows/The-Beach-Boys-John-Stamos-come-to-Austin-172843411.html

http://www.kvue.com/video/featured-videos/Beach-Boys-John-Stamos-sing-to-Quita-Culpepper-172893451.html

In the first of these, Historical informs the viewing audience that Nashville is nowhere and their town is where it's happening. You just know he's got a stack of original Daniel Johnston Stress-label cassettes in his basement - just like me.

In the second, the lean-and-mean trio serenade the newscaster with their serenading-a-young-female-newscaster tune that ain't "Surfer Girl."

Enough.

The last concert worth following was Wembley.

I know, these threads could be so funny if people tried.

And production aside, I’d so much rather hear a 14 year old David Marks shred some guitar on Chug-a-lug than hear a 51 year old Mike Love sing about bangin some chick in a swimming pool.-rab2591

Thanks for the links.

The blonde lady mentiones that the Beach Boys are on their 50th anniversary tour and they show a pictureof Brian, Mike, Al, David and Bruce.

And the Stamos train is on full steam. I'm still so thankful he wasn't part of the Beach Boys tour

There's another clip from this interview that I didn't link to or watch, which is apparently Stamos going on for a couple more minutes about putting the stubble in the music or whatever he does onstage.

A friend of mine went to the show in Austin. She reports:

- it was outdoors and pretty cold. Probably 50 degrees. Bruce wore a hood.
- It was pretty awesome but not as tight as the reunion.
- John C seemed kind of unhappy. His Rhonda wasn't as fun or animated as before.
- Stamos said something like "these are great songs no matter who sings them" which she thinks was a shoutout to the Big Fight
- "Scotty was dynamite!" (we both love us some Scott Totten)
- 2 hours straight, oldies and Kokomo. None of the lesser knowns.
- Bruce was "on it!"
- Started just like the reunion with Do it Again and Little Honda
- Mike was clowning around a lot with Stamos
- It was seriously cold
- John C was wearing golf gloves
- Christian Love sang Getcha Back and a couple others
- Bruce and Mike were signing calendars for the benefit

Thanks Ivy!
Did they use the break in "Do it again" between the last verse and chorus? I like very much how that sounded during the Beach Boys tour.
