Did it ever occur to you, Cable, how wise and bountiful God was to put breasts on a woman? Just the right number in just the right place. Did you ever notice that, Cable?

If you feel everything is nothing, then you need to read these books. They'll help cure you. They're as important to me as Pet Sounds

ok, here's my 2p.

1. The vast majority of people aren't deep.
2. People generally like what they are told to like.
3. You are on the outside looking in. A lonely place, but a better place than being in.
4. Beware of beautiful women. Most are only in it for themselves. Their sex is a tool.
5. Rather than watch a lot of tv, read some good books and magazines. May I recommend Octane.
6. At the end of the day, music is your best friend. Play to soothe your soul, not for anything else.
7. Life resides within the magic of discovery. It is great to discover with someone at your side, but it still yours alone.
8. Listen to Stack O Tracks a lot.
9. Your own music is far better than most. You don't need someone else to tell you that.
10. Get an education.

I just took an IQ test.

My long and suspected theory has been proven correct: I am a moron.

I've spent years thinking that I was something that i'm not. I have never felt the full effect of knowing that i'm not, as I can feel it now. I'm just nothing. My time isn't contributing to anything at all. I'm just a dumb waste on the world, there's no point in raising people like myself anymore. At birth we should be tested, if we fail to meet the requirments we should be thrown in the bin. I wish I could be something special, (Rather than being special... Roll Eyes) in the world. In contrast to that dead hope i'll be nothing at all. It's so goshdarn miserable.

my spec ed students all have IQs lower than 50. one can't talk nor communicate to the outside world. he wears a diaper. he is 11 years old. that's miserable.

Not sure a high IQ result necessarily equates to greatness in the world anyway.  Forget about it.

Steve, here are a couple of truths as i know the truth to be.

1.  IQ tests on the internet are wildly inaccurate.
2.  IQ tests in general only give trends - and they do not test multiple intelligences, but only middle-of-the-road kind of stuff.  There are geniuses who would "fail" a standard IQ test.
3.  Sitting around in your room feeling sorry for yourself is a waste of time and oxygen.  Getting out there and DOING something is not.
4.  It is a function of the later teen years to see the despair, and only the despair, inherent in living a life as a human being.  We have all been through this...and most of us come out the other side just fine.
5.  There's a hell of a lot more to this life than the despair, and most of the rest of it is pretty darned good.

Anyone reading your posts will tell you that you're no moron.  May i suggest that you're spending too much time Not Living?  Maybe you should make an effort to Choose To Live rather than sighing and being gloomy.  That's easy.

Go take some walks and purposely look for the beauty.  Purposely look for the good in other people.  Purposely improve yourself.  Take positive actions rather than sitting there wallowing in the despair.  Believe me...the beautiful good far outweighs it, and from what i've read in your posts, you're worth it.

H&V,

I feel like a worthless piece of sh*t, 90% of the time. So you're not alone. I wonder what the point of it all is.

I don't know you personally but I can tell you are not a piece of crap, and I hate almost everyone I meet, so that means something.

Remember, I only feel like a piece of sh*t 90% of the time. The other 10% of the time I'm too busy working and worrying about running out of money to think about myself.
