ok,since "Love you" and "15" haven't been re-released yet,how about a 2 cd set with "15 big ones" on the first disc with the rest of the songs left off of it as bonus tracks,a couple demos and disc 2 can be "Love you" with "adult child" as bonus tracks and (if room left) demos...the cd can be called "Brians back"..any thoughts?

Great idea but it will never happen. It's like they want to forget about those albums completely.

I'd like 15 Big Ones redux with a disc of oldies and a disc of newies as was originally intended.

Actually, nah, I just want 15 Big Ones as it is. Gimme the unreleased stuff on the box set. Running Bear.

I want this song remastered.

And production aside, I’d so much rather hear a 14 year old David Marks shred some guitar on Chug-a-lug than hear a 51 year old Mike Love sing about bangin some chick in a swimming pool.-rab2591

Naming your latest greatest hits collections in reference to one of those albums isn't really the way to make people forget it.

The 12 remasters were rush-released in the US and UK when Capitol Japan, out of nowhere, opted to release them. I'm sure we'll see the other albums (sans Summer In Paradise) sooner or later.

(sans Summer In Paradise)

They should include Paradise.

Both mixes.

And then reissue TWGMTR in a cardboard sleeve.

Then we'll have world peace.

No disagreements, here.

Of all the unreleased songs that I've HEARD, this might be my favorite. I always hoped it would be remastered and released, or, even re-recorded for some kind of project. Does anybody know who produced and arranged it? And, does anybody know why it was considered for a Christmas album? Is it just that one line, "chills the body but not the soul..."?

I'm just not too keen on a release called "Brian's Back" that takes two 35-+-year-old albums as justification of its title.

Surely a TLOS/TWGMTR two-fer would be more apt for the title?

And the outtake bonus tracks would be far more readily mopped up by a 2012 audience.

As for for Michael Row The Boat Ashore, well, that's up there with Battle Hymn of the Republic in terms of desirability, surely?

I say release them and put a sticker on it that says "Brian Wilson's favorite Beach Boys albums".

Agreed. That synth bass line needs to be heard in the best possible quality. This song could lead to world peace. So great.
