Hello fellow members, I'm currently in high school and I love the beach boys(understatement).  I wanted to know more about the BBs and found this nice cozy forum and lurked around as a guest. I've had many questions I wanted answered about the BBs so I decided to join this forum. My last experiences with forums were not great due to the rowdiness of the users but I quite like the people here in this forum.

I'm not sure how I stumbled upon the Beach Boys. My 2nd grade teacher used to play their songs while we worked so from then on I knew about the Beach Boys. I remember hearing "Don't Worry Baby" while watching Deja Vu (Although I wish there was a little bit more formal). I was captivated by their vocals partly because of my love of harmonies in jazz. After searching their songs on Youtube, I was a Beach Boys fan. 2 years later and I know and have heard all of their music except for the exclusive ones on the Good Vibrations set.

One thing that I remember vividly was the jump I took from Summer Days and Nights to Pet Sounds (I like to listen to albums chronologically, don't ask why) . It took a few weeks a many tries to get used to the new sounds. Now I wonder how I was so stupid to doubt the excellence of Pet Sounds. And afterwards I  gradually listened to each of their albums one-by-one.

 
The Beach Boys is my favorite band and I have in a way a man-crush on Brian and Carl . I listen to them almost everyday as well as other music.

I know this is kind of a long intro but my love for the BBs is great and their music has helped me out many times so I guess there is little I can do to help!
