Just wondered what your experiences are and whether you would recomend it? Am thinking of putting my album on it.

In my experience, people are more likely to purchase your album on iTunes, or stream it on Spotify (even if Bandcamp is the link you choose to promote).

With that said, Bandcamp is great because you can offer your material for free in exchange for an e-mail address, so you can build your fan mailing list. I use it for this purpose. The design is pretty neat too.

Bandcamp is great, however, it seems to turn peoples "Well... Maybe I'll Buy It Just 'Cause" senses off.

I really like it. I'll echo seltaeb: it's no ticket to make a lot of money, but as a promotional tool it's excellent.

It offers downloads in just about any possible format you could want, including lossless. It is teh winrar.

I like offering my music for free so bandcamp is definitely the best site I've found to host my music. I like how each album has its own separate page.
