When thinking out my next album, which is going really well, I decided to make a "Be My Baby" sound alike as a kind of parody of songs like "Don't Worry Baby" and "Say Good Bye To Hollywood" It uses the same bassline and first chord and intro stuff, but has a different melody and chorus.
My question is, is this legal to sell? It's not Be My Baby, it's just a song written by me that uses the motifs

The drum beat is fine, a million songs use that - but you might want to alter the bass line and chords just a bit so it's not an exact copy of the intro.
