Okay, who the hell is spamming on the Pink Floyd Forum?
I know it's someone from here, and I have a sneaking suspicion I know which one, Tarot Mandrews.

[...] then listened to "When Girls Get Together" about 500 times in a row, [...] listened to more "When Girls Get Together", wondered if it was written after hearing "Happy Xmas (War Is Over)" by John Lennon, [...].
It is a nice song, no doubt, but 500 times in a row, really? You must have set the world record for that. The most I can listen to a favorite song in a row is 20-30, 35.

I went out record shopping/browsing today. I visited three of the local used record shops in town and I bought a nice stack of albums. Check it out...The Doors 'Absolutely Live', The Damned 'Not The Captain's Birthday', Kinks 'Kinks-Size', Beach Boys 'Friends' (for the 3rd time, but this is a mint re-issue copy), King Crimson 'Lizard', Jeff Beck 'Truth', California USA Various Artists (double LP), and Julie Driscoll/Brian Auger & The Trinity 'Street Noise'. Afterwards I took my 2 year old out for ice cream and I bought him a kiddie pool for our backyard. When we got home he fell asleep, I listened to Side One of 'Lizard', and here I am now posting this message as my son snoozes. He looks so cute hugging his stuffed frog. What a nice day Smiley

Coincidentally, I started reading An Irregular Head last night. Great reading so far and more in-depth than any other Syd stories I can recall.

The Jools and Brian album is fantastic.  I have everything they did together, and that one was the best - so, good buy.  Cool cover too, done by the same guy that later worked with Hunter S. Thompson on the crazy Rolling Stone features on Nixon and the like.  If you like Jools, search out the tracks she did with Giorgio Gomelsky early in her career.  The easiest way is to get a CD two disc set marketed as Brian Auger -Tiger (made in Germany on Atom in 2007, and about as good as these tracks are gonna sound) that also has the early Auger sides and Steampacket stuff.  She does some choice covers, like "I Didn't Want To Have To Do It" and "If You Should Ever Leave Me."  She's the closest singer to Dusty I've ever heard.  Jools and Brian got back together in the mid-70's and did an album.  Hope I'm not butting in with stuff you already know, fans of these folks are so rare.  Which brings me to my co-feature story...       Somebody else who is a fan.  Yesterday while researching, I came across the four posts that Mark Linett has done on Amazon USA.  One of them was a  review  for Open, a 1968 album by Jools, Brian and the Trinity.  It was him fussing at Tom Vickers, who had helped Brian in the production of the CD re-issues done by Ghostown Records in 2004.  Seems the bonus tracks Tom had come up with were Fake Stereo!  Maybe they could have used the mono, but for whatever reason didn't.  They sound okay to me.  A little insight into what else Mark listens to at home.  Brian's son Karma did the restoration and 24-BIT re-mastering (I've never heard them sound better), so I'm sure all involved knew what was going on.  I'm glad to have those rare bonus tracks in any form.  I have been a fan of Jools, Brian, and anyone Brian wants to play with to this day.  He put an album out recently, on which he sings lead vocals - something he's let others do for way too long.  Have you heard it?  It sounds a lot like his early 70's work, when he did the vocals on the albums.
