To sum it up, they blew it, they blew it consistently, they continue to blow it, it is tragic and this pathological problem caused The Beach Boys' greatest music to be so underrated by the general public.

It is worth noting that Bruce's name tag reads in Japanese "Bruce Historical Johnston".

Isn't there a Japanese group called Beach Boys?  They should take a photo with them!

Will you be there? Or do you mean to read about it afterwards?
I must say that I'd never thought at the beginning of this year that the Boys would sell so many tickets as they already did. I agree that this venue will be interesting,

I won't be there sadly although I'd love to visit Japan one day

We will get a good idea from videos/pics etc. I hope it's a massive show

I'm a little puzzled now. They use the video wall in Japan but not in Europe ?

That looks like a much bigger, different wall than the ones used in the USA. Maybe the venue provided it.

Looks like a projection screen of sorts. It is not the same frame as the US.

And, maybe the venue had that capability.

If it is logistically reasonable and doable, it is great.

The frame is beyond enormous.  It looks as large/wide as a house frame on a single dimension plane.  And, probably is.

It adds so much to the performance.

Glad they worked that out for those concert goers.   Wink

How quickly they are forgotten!

Christopher Cross was a multi-Grammy winner (the first solo artist to win all four top awards) who had one of the biggest albums of 1979. You could not listen to the radio or go into any department store or corner grocery in '79 or '80 without hearing him. His last Beach Boy-related appearance was providing backing vocals for Brian on IMAGINATION and for the one-off filmed concert in Chicago to promote that album.
