Just saw this on Ebay. I thought that someone might be interested. Another example of how Japan gets a lot of great products that we don't get here in the west.

The Japan mini lp's have been discussed here on the board before. Really nice reproductions of the orignal album covers in CD size. The entire Beach Boy catalog was released in Japan this way. Mini LP 'boxes' were also available to house the CDs. Really great quality.

Now there is a Pacific Ocean Blue 'Box' with 5 'Beach Boy Family' CDs included. If I could afford it I would purchase it just for the POB box and CD!

Heres' the link :

They sure look nice, don't they? I don't know how many were anxiously awaiting a reissue of Terry Melcher's Royal Flush album, though...

EDIT - fixed error

It is Royal Flush, but I agree, a tree is more exciting than that album.

Got POB from this set last week, nice addition to the mini LP collection.

I would have got Youngblood AND Carl Wilson had they released the first album also.

Has 'Carl Wilson' ever been given a CD release by itself or as a twofer?

Instead of Terry Melcher's album, we should have the California Music disc re-released. Or Jack Rieley's album re-released..those are still friends of the family. Or Celebration if need be.
