Someone should do This Whole World so we can have a "Sunflower Suite" on our album, with the first three songs from Sunflower.

Well, that and because it's a freaking amazing song.
I actually did a cover of This Whole World years ago for a Tapeop.com project. I'll post it tonight.

Zach,
I saw it! Have been swamped again/feeling v uncreative, am just not feeling music these past few weeks.

BTW It's easily changed, as i wanted to re-record the guitar part anyway. Or most of the fuckin' thing. We'll see how we go.

I'm sure you COULD wait for it just fine, after you've heard it! Smiley

This Whole World

and a vocals only mix:

This Whole World vocals only

Enjoy! I also did a version of Let Him Run Wild for that collaboration, and I have posted my version of Don't Talk here just last month.

Great job, a little bit pitchy but that's not a big problem at all. It's not as if I could do it any better, so I can't criticize Tongue
Well, I'd prefer it NOT to be pitchy but I do the best I can, ya know?

Are the drums real drums or programmed? I love the sound of them, they just sound a tiny bit "digital". Or you just have impeccable rhythm.
The drums were real. I don't play the drums myself, although I do all the other instrumentation and vocals. The drums are played by a friend of mine. We've been in a few bands together over the years and he likes the recording process, too.

BUMP!

Hey guys. Zach was awesome enough to demo the backing vocals for Keep An Eye On Summer.

Here are the isolated parts:

Brian (EgoHanger)
http://www59.zippyshare.com/v/60132777/file.html

Carl (?)
http://www59.zippyshare.com/v/48184737/file.html

Al (?)
http://www59.zippyshare.com/v/67869146/file.html

Mike (Zach)
(done)

Brian lead (seltaeb)
(done)

Any takers for the Carl + Al parts?

Here is the piano track to record to:

http://www59.zippyshare.com/v/81584059/file.html

Also would anyone be interested in adding some tremolo guitar, or any other cool 60's sounding instruments?

Looking forward to reviving our e-collab!

Does the piano track and isolated demo parts sync up? I'd like to record right over the isolated part if I can...

Just got the Brian part back from Egohanger. Got chills hearing the blend so far.

Anyone else down to take a part? We still have Carl + Al left.

I was also thinking it might be cool to try some Pet Sounds style percussion on this one. Like the delayed bongos on "Caroline, No".

Speaking of reviving, how's Stevie doing? Isn't that pretty much postable?

I think it was pretty close to finished. I seem to recall the mix needed some work.

I can give it a go, but is it missing a part on the "and though you could be dating" line?

Zach could probably give you a more definitive answer, but I think the part drops out there. Unless you think it should be different.

Paging Zach!
