Three more shows and that completes the US leg of this tour.  How time flies!

Could be a coincidence but I wonder if Mike was inspired to put in "All I Wanna Do" after last night when he heard someone at the Grammy event voice their love for it (a board member here actually: CenturyDeprived was the one who said it).  He began to sing a few lines by himself to Carnie who couldn't remember what the tune was.  Carnie I believe also expressed her adoration for "The Night Was So Young" saying how she would love if the group would cover that.

I think Mike is realizing that the fans here in the good old US can dig the deeper tunes just as easily as the fans in the UK can.  So glad to see him believe in his songs again!  Right on Mike!

Let's hope one of the SS members who attended can confirm these new songs were in fact added.  And of course wait for the front row, HD shot video of the songs  Grin

I'm gonna cry if this is real. "All I Wanna Do" being done live would be a dream come true!

No way they did Mona live.  I think I might die if they did Mona live.

Nobody tell me if they did Mona live.

Indeed we should hold off on bringing out the kegs but for what it's worth:  the member who reported this JohnnyCashed also mentioned "Good Timin" was played so it's not like he just dropped in with the three titles and nothing else to work with.  A quick look at his previous posts on the board shows that he reported about a radio interview Al and Bruce did for a Calgary radio station.  He says;  "Both say that Brian is having a blast open tour...Also promised a major shake up in the set list. I will be at the Saddledome and will send reports as the concert goes on.... "

So it's weighing a little on the side that this just might be true.  I'ma gonna look for that radio interview...

EDIT: Couldn't find the radio interview.  This JohnnCashed dude is flipped. (Justin makes cuckoo-cuckoo noises)

Wonder who sang lead on "Mona" and "TNWSY", assuming they were actually played live.

Most touching moment of the night: During God Only Knows Brian seems to forget that he's in front of a crowd of thousands and is staring at pictures of his baby brother. The Beach Boys are love.

It must be strange living their lives out in front of people.  Brian reminicses in front of 1000's like we do sitting on our sofa.
