I drove up from West Virginia for this show. Can't wait, it's a dream come true. I'm hoping for Prayer, This Whole World, and Darlin'. I'll be happy with whatever they play though.

curious...what part of west virginia? i was born in morgantown. in the 60's my uncle was the mayor of madison...spent half my childhood there and danville. went a few bars in huntington wv in my day...(grew up ashland , ky)

Wish I could go to this...but the power went out in my part of Maryland Friday night and that's been a bitch to deal with. Also, my wife and I just turned over our old (totaled) car to the insurance people, and we haven't gotten a new one yet. Because it's find to hard a 'Vette with "Still Cruisin'" stenciled on the side.

My mom's at this show (VB's my hometown) and she just texted to say that they said they're going to play 50 songs tonight! If that's true I think that'd be a record for the tour, yes?

Wow, 50 songs.  Shocked That's how many they rehearsed before the tour. I'm still in awe that they're actually changing it up and adding/rotating new songs. It would be so easy for them to just put it on autopilot and do the songs everyone expects them to do and little else. Still time to add a cut off LOVE YOU.  Grin

Kind of sucks they gotta go from Virginia to Utah in one night. Though I'm sure they're used to flying back and forth across the country by now.

My God, what a show. A few setlist observations in no particular order:  Darlin', Marcella, Still Cruisin', Betsy, Please Let Me Wonder, Kiss Me Baby, Wendy, Pet Sounds, Come And No With Me, R&R Music, Good Timin'. They didn't do Our Prayer. Fantastic show, everyone sounded great. Mike Love has never sounded better; I was just shocked at how good whe was. Al was in excellent form as always. Bruce killed Disney Girls. David took the lead on Getcha Back and his guitar was just perfect. Brian was fairly energetic and into it, seemed to be enjoying himself. After Add Some Music, he simply said "The boys," (with Al or Bruce answering "The man!"). He seemed proud and happy to be playing with the guys. He danced around a little bit during Barbara Ann and Fun Fun Fun. What a show, I'm so happy I was able to see it.

Steve, I'm from southern WV, close to Beckley. A six hour drive to VA Beach but well worth it. We got those storms as well, my power was out from Friday night to Monday morning. It was a challenging few days, but we muddled through and got our reward with this show tonight. Just incredible.
