What I love about David from the various clips I"ve heard is that he's not phoning in a locked solo...he's making something up new for a lot of them.  He feels the moment and just plays whatever comes out.   That's a great thing.

Some more from the guys channel

great footage of Brian and his bass:

Barbara Ann/Surfin USA

I see they added the long intro for "Barbara Ann" now with the "yeah, yeah" call/response with the crowd?

Some of the clips are just getting better. Are the fun police still trying to stop people using their phones or have they given up?

Heck...the guy was in the 4th row. Steve Wonder could have seen that close.

Unless they're filming, I'm guessing it depends on the specific venue's own rules about cameras and stuff.

In that video above it's very clear how supportive Mike is of Brian.  Giving him a thumbs up and a smile of support during the solo on "Surfin USA"....should I start a thread now titled "MIKE LOVE TRIEZ TO MAKE BRIAN FEEL COMFORTABLE!!"

re: Brian's bass... it looks like he is playing some actual semblance of a bassline during Barbara Ann but not Surfin' USA in that clip.

Also how rejuvenated Mike looks at he end of the show, as if loaded by the vibe from the audience and the music he's performing. Actually all of them are.

Absolutely Lenny.  I noticed Mike singing the car medley with some extra vigor and I thought that was really cool.  So great to see that they're obviously happy to be next to each other again.

PRO SHOT BEACH BOYS CONCERTS - LIST

To sum it up, they blew it, they blew it consistently, they continue to blow it, it is tragic and this pathological problem caused The Beach Boys' greatest music to be so underrated by the general public.
