Let's leave all talk of his personal life out of this

So, I came across "My World" and "Invisible Tears". I must say that i'm amazed and knocked off my feet by the performances and just the songs in general. These two songs are terrific.

"I awake every evening and somehow stumble through the night....."

I've only got a clip of this song, it ends on that line.

Who else can overlook the weird stuff and realize this music?

I've got to find more music if it's all of this greatness.

Get the Lie album. One of the finest psych-folk LP's ever recorded.
I haven't heard a song of his I don't like yet.

"Invisible tears in my eyes,
Incredible pain in my heart,
Indestructible memories all in review.
Impossible though things may get,
Improbable I will forget,
Indelible memories
Incomparable memories
Indispensible memories of sweet, loveable you".

A part of me wishes he and Brian Wilson had teamed up to make some groovy little songs like "Busy Doin' Nothin'". But instead of Brian's fun words, these great love song words.

I don't see this thread going very far, some people can't see past his "actions".

Sure, I like Manson's music.

Would "Never Learn Not To Love" be worthy of inclusion here?  Great song.

Absolutely. And Charles also wrote the words for Be With Me.

I would love to hear the recordings that Brian and Carl produced for Charlie (according to AGD, since he's all about citing sources). Those would probably be "interesting".

My first Manson wrote listen a very beutifull song sung by one Willium Axl Rose . A song called look at your game girl. Axl in fact became completley obsessed with manson. He wore a shirt very often with various masnon themed frazes, ie charlie dont surf!

Fair enough, he was very fkd up.

But, he did have a very eatherel sence of song. A song that only, in my mind, has no fear. He, and in every sence of the word had balls. His was a world of confusion, but his lyrics speak out to me.

Bottom line though, FUM HIM THE MOURDOROUS BASTARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Praise him and you are as bad as I am!

Im in no way religious, infact I hate the whole god fad. But I still feel like Ive sined for praising MANSON.

Cheers

Barry

I haven't heard Manson, but it doesn't surprise me to hear you guys saying he's good. In all these years plenty of people have commented on it, but I've never heard anybody say a bad word about his music; apparently the guy had very genuine talent. In a much lesser sense, Ike Turner has a similar stigma, the world at large knows him (not inaccurately) as a notorious wife beating drug addict, but music fans also recognize him as one of the greatest talents R&B has ever known. And now Spector too takes his place in that bizarre no man's land between angel and monster. Guess there's a fine line between genius and madness, as they say.

I remember now!  Wilson, quoting Lucius Annaeus Seneca, from an episode of "Home Improvement".  Answered my own question.

Wait till you hear the song "My World", it floats along so well. His voice rides above the guitar playing (which is also very good) perfectly.

All you do is put your own email in the send-it-to, then browse, attach your files, then copy the link when it comes on and copy it here.
