Just noticed that Amazon has a listing for a vinyl 45 single of TWGMTR. Cool! Release date July 3, 2012.

Don't know if this was mentioned in another thread. I didn't see it as a topic here on the board. Maybe it's been out there for a while.

Flip side, anyone?

http://www.amazon.com/Thats-Why-God-Made-Radio/dp/B0084O8OB6/ref=sr_1_46?ie=UTF8&qid=1339536203&sr=8-46

Let's make it a #1 vinyl 45!

Amazon states that the flipside is "2. That's Why God Made The Radio (Instrumental) "

I noticed that too. That should be interesting. An "a capella" mix would seemingly make more sense, but what do I know? The BB's are barely on the backing track.

It is! Although Waves of Love isn't that good it must have hurt Al a bit not to have it on the album so putting it as the b-side on this would've been a nice gesture I think and that way his song still gets out there.

That blasted 78 is the only reason I went a bought a new three-speed turntable and it's still the only 78 I have Shocked Plus all the stuff on there is widely available elsewhere so it's not like I was missing out by not being able to play it. Sigh.

Snap!  Only I haven't had time to put mine together yet… so the 10"s're still sealed.

I already got the 7" a week and a half ago, to my surprise my local record store had it.

$12....and only available as an import from the USA...so would end up costing a lot for me.

THat's why I haven't bought one - though of course I pre-ordered my vinyl LP.

When Brian released Wonderful as a 45RPM-only single in 2004 it reached #29 in the UK charts and cost just £1.99 each. Ergo I bought all three different colours. Good Vibrations was also just £1.99 and I don't think the Christmas 45 cost any more in 2005.

The last 45 I bought was 'Midnights Another Day' which was something like £8 including post from the US of A.

Do you mean the sleeve that rests inside the outer sleeve? No. It's just plain white.

I've ordered mine through a seller via Amazon uk as Amazon uk itself doesn't seem to be handling the 7". Would also like the CD single which I think was promo-only but might so that one out.

I paid $4 for my copy of Midnight. I would go as high as $6 or $7...$12 is just too much. I will buy the vinyl album when it comes out, though.
