I can't get Stacy Lattisaw's "Jump To The Beat" out of my head. Apart from being a catchy song that I heard for the first time only last week, there's something about that video. It's as if Stacy's been superimposed onto a club scene rather than that she's actually there. The two seems utterly distinct! Stacy's song "Dancin' Up Storm" (snippet) plays in the background in pool scene in "Police Academy 4". Zed makes Capt. Harris storm when he catches him swimming in his police uniform. Tells Zed angrily to change to dry. Pretty fitting song.

Shuffling, showed up 2 jolly cool tunes which didn't hear since about 5 yrs back - "Not So Sweet Martha Lorraine" by Country Joe & The Fish & "...and even now (Smile!)" by Ellen Kay. 1st is big favorite Monterey track. Next, didn't recognize the band name but definitely it's by Smiley Smiler, maybe JK can answer who listens to many SS musicians thru yrs. The guy's voice is really cool & really cool uber-fast keyboard (I got suspicion it's by kwan_dk).
