I've been listening to the title track to Queen's 1991 album Innuendo a lot lately.
It was released as a single 25 years ago last month. And the album proved to be the final Queen album while Freddie Mercury was still alive.
I'm obsessed with White Queen (As It Began).

Animal Collective - College. I like frying pan noises & think the vocals are fun.

This whole album. "Stoned and Starving" is particularly funny... and a pretty realistic situation . Also, "Leaf House" by Animal Collective is a fun song.

Rediscovering my love for Vampire Weekend's "Run."
And "The Dangling Conversation" might be one of the most beautiful songs of the '60s.

That "Flori-dada, flori-dada" is very catchy. What's strange, this song smb. compared to the BBs.

"This Must Be the Place (Naïve Melody)" by Iron and Wine and Ben Bridwell, Sam on lead vocal. I was never much of a Talking Heads fan, and like many tracks on Sing Into My Mouth, had never heard by the original artist. Still obsessed would be a better way to say it. This is one of the songs that helped get me through a very rough patch I've been going through this year. Home is where I want to be, indeed.

Sorry to hear things have been rough, Will. Thank goodness for songs! Since posting this, I've linked SIMM on my other board and it's an absolute gem! I'm a complete sucker for laid-back pedal steel, which helps. I don't think I'm familiar with any of the originals. Thank you. :=) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4SQsEPTiOY0

I confess to not ever hearing the whole Mr Tambourine Man album by The Byrds.
A few days ago while listening on the satellite underground garage channel the song 'Here Without You' was played.
What an incredible song. The harmonies are so beautiful. Downloaded the song and have been listening to it frequently, loving it more each time.

"Unbelievers" - Vampire Weekend. Just Ezra Koenig in general <3.
Also, "I Love You So" by the Walters. Beach Boys-esque harmonies.

I've listened to "Walk Right Back" about 11 times and I've only been awake for 3 hours. Working on #12 right now. Would be higher if it wasn't for that whole, pesky school thing.
