For the last 5 months I've been floating recording a very mellow version of this song...I finally did it today!

Hope you enjoy! I changed a chord around in the chorus to make the song feel more nostalgic. Also added the beginning riff from 'Fun Fun Fun' to the bridge.

That was FANTASTIC.  I enjoy when people change songs just slightly to make it their own.  When covering a song, either you do it DEAD ON accurate like the recording (which is no fun listening to, really) or put your own spin on it.  here, you've changed the melody slightly and it works.  The melody change can be "forgiven" by some purists by the time you get to the great bridge with the fantastic layered vocals that sound great.  Well done!

I love how you rearrange & reinterprate well known BB songs instead of just taking the easy road with a note-for-note cover. Your cover of When I Grow Up was just as great as this one.

I wish Brian & the boys had gone for something like this when they re-recorded Do It Again for the reunion...
