You and I - POB makes it for me, but there are so many good ownes from POB/Bambu

I never felt much from Brian's solo efforts, but BWPS/BWRG are really solid as is Love And Mercy

Is Carl's stuff worth listening in to?

From what I've listened to, it's gotta be 'Midnight's Another Day'.

River Song without a doubt.

I wouldn't recommend Carl's solo stuff to anyone, apart from Heaven off his first album.

Agreed. Seems like his albums continue where the Light Album left off. Too adult contemporary or whatever you'd call it.

Wonderful - Brian Wilson

One of the most beautiful pieces of music I've ever heard in my life.

It might be fairer to exclude POB because that album is right up there with the classic 1965-72 BB albums. I'd probably pick 'Melt Away' as performed on the Don Was album. It was my 'Brian is really back' moment.

I know this probably doesn't count but I really love Randell Kirsch's "California Sleepwalking", it's also been recorded by Chris Farmer.
