Obvious choices would be Paul Mccartney, The Flame(s?) or Chicago(but only if they reunite with Peter Cetera and Danny Seraphine).

The Beach Boys

I'll go with that too.  They'll be strong enough to headline their own show.  No need for any warm-up acts.

I, I love the colorful clothes she wears, and she's already working on my brain. I only looked in her eyes, but I picked up something I just can't explain. I, I bet I know what she’s like, and I can feel how right she’d be for me. It’s weird how she comes in so strong, and I wonder what she’s picking up from me. I hope it’s good, good, good, good vibrations, yeah!!

Hey, I'll second that. Otherwise The Explorers Club. Sort of a changing of the guard type thing.

I'd prefer no opening act as well.

If we have an opening act, there won't be time for much more than a run-through of the hits. If we *don't* have an opening act, then we can get sets as long and interesting as Brian's from 2002 or Mike, Bruce and David's from 2008.
Since I'm hoping we'll get a fifty-song setlist (or more, but fifty songs would be appropriate given the nature of the tour), I'm also hoping there's no opening act.

Hadn't thought of that, but what better way could there be of honouring Carl and Dennis?

Doubt it will happen though.

The Polyphonic Spree would be perfect.
