I think the Sun City, South Africa gigs were (at about) the first ones Jeff played.

In 1978 I saw him playing jazz in a bar/restaurant on Santa Monica pier. He was very approachable and seemed to appreciate that I knew who he was. He ended up playing standup bass on a Earle Mankey produced session of mine at Art Laboe's Original Sound recording studio. Very nice guy!

Robert Kenyatta is a percussionist, not a woodwind player (Brad Elliott mistakenly identified him as the latter in his book).
Tony Leo was their drum tech & played some important percussion parts for them when Bobby F. or Mike K. sat in for Dennis on the drum kit. I'm unaware of him playing any keyboards for them.

Yeah, I read an interview somewhere (with Daryl?) who said that all three Dragon brothers were on stage with The Boys at one point.

What was the line-up for the Stars and Stripes project? A few different faces on the DVD concert footage. C & W musicians perhaps?

no, no, no. even just judging her taste in music, no. I'm sure I've gone on multiple times about how her relationship with music infuriates me to no end. and one of the worst fights we ever got in was when we saw the Beach Boys play in Atlantic City a few years ago and I wanted to get closer to the stage and she said it was already too loud from 500 feet away on the boardwalk.

Doug was on a few tours in '68, including the first one that Kowalski and Carter played.

I see why no one has commented on this. Here's a better link:

Aegir, when this thread started, I immediately thought of the the alumnus section of the BeachBoysBand site. Didn't bother going there 'cause I thought everything AGD listed was already there. Not the case - but anyway......I've never heard of these guys. Maybe somebody could fill in the blanks. If I Googled them, I could probably get an indication of who they are. I recogize Ed Teduri from one of the album credits:
RICKY CASTRATA
MARK ISHAM
JEFF KAPLIN
JOE POLLARD
JOHN RENNER
JOE SAMPLE (Know who he is but didn't know he played on the road with the BB).
ERNIE SMALL
STANLEY T. SICHELL
STERLING SMITH

Mike Price (horn) - 1971
Mike Kowalski (drums/perc) - 1968-73 / 1977 / October?? 1981 - September 2007
Billy Hinsche (guitar/keys) - 1971 - February 1996 (except 1980 European Tour)
Mike Meros (keys) - March 1, 1979 - July 4, 2001
Adrian Baker (guitar) - May 1981 - September 1982 / August?? 1990 - September 1992 / July 1998 - May 2004
Jeff Foskett (guitar) - December 1981 - July 4, 1990
Matt Jardine (perc) - June 1988?? - May 9, 1998
Stanley T. Sichell (guitar) - September 28, 1990 - December 31, 1990

Jeff played at the Westbury Music Fair In March of 1982, so I don't think that your post of Adrian Baker playing all the way into September of 1982 is correct.

I assume Adrian left soon after because he is not present at the Jamaica concert in November.

Stanley T. Sichell played guitar in late 1990.
Stanley joined the band onstage during the encores for the Chicago/Beach Boys tour of 1989. In August 1990 he relenquished his crew position to concentrate on playing/singing with the band. Sometime between March and May 1991 he was apparently dropped by the band.
