Fav Intro: "Child is the Father of the Man" on bwps it sounds so epic like a movie is about 2 begin.

Fav Outro: "Cabin Essence" ..just hearing mike's hypnotizing voice singing  "over and over the crow cries uncover the cornfield" is just magical & i love how it fades away.

"Til I Die" has  a very similar outro.(beautiful)

"I'm So Young" also has a great outro it pauses then the doo wop begins :D

Personally, Fun, Fun, Fun has the best intro and outro. Sure the intro is a JBG knock-off but it perfectly telegraphs that this is gonna be a fun song! And the outro speaks for itself, especially in concert.

Best intro is hands down "Don't Worry Baby".  It fades in, which is unique, and you hear those drums and just know what's coming: the Beach Boys at their best, singing to the heavens.

Best outro that springs to mind would be God Only Knows.  Hard to top that, again the Beach Boys at their best singing in the round.

My favorite intros have to be Wouldn't It Be Nice, God Only Knows and Don't Worry Baby.

As for outros/fades, there are way too many to choose from, but if I had to narrow it down to three, I'd go with Cabinessence, God Only Knows and Caroline, No.

It's shameful that "Don't Go Near The Water" hasn't been said already. Best outro.

And no one's mentioned the "A Day In The Life Of A Tree" outro either -- that (and the "'Til I Die" outro) needs a 5.1 mix all of its own!

For an intro, though not my favorite, but pretty close , is Wendy. It gives you no clue as to where the song is going to go, which is kind of the genius behind it. For the outro, just because the Boys use it to close out thousands of shows throughout their career, Fun, Fun, Fun.

Outro to California Girls (stack-o-tracks) is my absolute all-time favorite Beach Boy outro (and probably all-time favorite moment altogether).

I blast that sh*t from my stereo with the bass cranked high....utterly amazing.

Favorite intro - Don't Worry Baby

Two outros not mentioned:  The harmonies of solitude in "The Warmth of the Sun," and the final moments of the influential "Feel Flows."  Would also mention the understated tinkling of Smiley Smiles' "Wind Chimes."

Intro not yet mentioned:  the pure joy that is "Vege-Tables."
